Local broadband provider removes data caps from its wireless services
Norfolk broadband provider WiSpire today removed all data caps from the broadband services carried on its wireless network. This means that all new WiSpire customers on its wireless network can now enjoy unlimited data usage.
Steve Maine, Chief Executive of WiSpire said; “We have been working hard to deal with Norfolk’s rural broadband issues, providing wireless broadband connections in parts of the county not served by other service providers using other technologies. Many of our service packages already offer uncapped data capacity but today’s announcement extends this facility to all users of our wireless network.”
Last month, the Parliamentary Culture, Media and Sport Committee recommended that Government should support the use of other technologies, and support the efforts of other network operators, like WiSpire.
Mr Maine continued; “WiSpire is rapidly expanding its customer base and wireless network to provide these essential broadband services, and in those parts of the county not yet reached by our wireless network, the company offers a range of satellite services to make sure that all Norfolk residents and businesses have access to fast, reliable broadband connectivity.”
