WiSpire is a local service provider based in Norfolk and our customers are at the heart of what we do. Our mission is to bridge the gap between 100% coverage and we aim to reach the parts others won’t,with a focus on areas with less than 4Mb/s.

Having previously been supported by the Diocese of Norwich and Archant, WiSpire is now owned by InTouch Systems. With their help, our aim is to provide better broadband services to all rural areas of the county, as opposed to the high populated areas.

WiSpire uses parish church towers, masts, silos and even a wind turbine as platforms to deliver high speed, reliable, and wireless broadband internet access. This is just one of the many services we can provide.  Other services include: wireless connections via 4G, satellite broadband, FTTC (Fibre to the cabinet) and ADSL connections to local businesses, schools and residents in areas suffering from speeds of less than 4Mb/s.

Origins & Today

Originally established in 2011, the company currently operates through the use of 47 churches across the whole of Norfolk.

WiSpire, was previously owned and supported by the Diocese of Norwich and Archant, regional publisher of newspapers, magazines and digital media. With the injection of further funding from Archant in July 2015, the company accelerated the rollout of its service throughout 2016.

In WiSpire’s recent history, InTouch Systems bought the company in March 2018 and with their ownership WiSpire has been able to expand their network even further and make the service as resilient as possible. We now look to help InTouch Systems with the installation of our wireless equipment onto a number of church towers for the South Norfolk Council.
